We are the Dragonfly Walkers from Edmonton, Alberta. We’re a family group of friends, recreational cyclists, walkers and runners coming together to walk and run for the cure. We will be walking and running on October 4, 2009 with Nina Budd. She is a wife, a mother, a sister, a daughter, a friend, a teacher, a walker and a Sleepy Sunday Spinner who has diagnosed with Lung Cancer in June 2007.  After surgery and Chemo Therapy treatment, she is a true survivor.

This will be the first time since my surgery and Chemo Therapy that I have been feeling well enought to complete the walk. I am inspired and blessed by my dear friends and family who will be walking and running with me on October 4, 2009.   Now, I hope that I can motivate family and friends to do the walk and run for me. Together we’ll make a difference; we are all Dragonfly Walkers!
